Retro 1980’s Trend – Hot Trend
Millennial moms and dads were born between 1981 and 1997 which make up the young parents of today. This generation has typically been consumed with technology yet there has been a push towards the nostalgia of simpler times. Turning back to retro brands and classic toys, we see manufacturers meeting the need for toys and products that remind this generation of their childhood. This trend is supported with the fact that classic toys perform well. In 2017, plush sales grew 8 percent and doll sales grew percent.
